Preamble

Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira Community Training Centre was started in 1989 to answer the needs of manufacturing, retail sales and repairs in India. Today, the CTC is an established name in imparting quality hands-on training in different trades with a guarantee of self / wage empolyment.

Vision Statement

Considering India as an emerging superpower in the comity of nations to equip the country with enlightened citizens morally upright, intellectually analytical, emotionally balanced and technically competent.

Mission Statement

To train young men of Bengal in skills involved in manufacturing and repairs in answer to the need based social requirements, coupled with moral & intellectual virtues through co-curricular activities like Vedic prayer, Quiz contests, Games & Sports, etc.

Aims & Objectives

To provide demand driven training in hands-on skills required by the manufacturing and after-sales sectors as a service to society.

    • Provide hands-on skills training for different target groups of youth, especially the un-employable in Bengal.
    • Provide high quality training in the select trades so that youth are transformed into complete technicians.
    • Organize customized corporate training programme.
    • Undertake jobs involving the trades in which training is imparted, as a part of practical hands-on training.
    • Take up consultancy work for State Govt., Corporate houses.

Co-curricular activities :

For overall personality development of students various co-curricular activities are organised regularly for them, such as :

  • Vedic chanting & meditation at beginning of classes.
  • Volleyball  Tournament.
  • PD classes (included in every common schedule)
    • Communication skills
    • Shop floor behaviour
    • Students grooming
  • Industry visits
